1. How many questions are there in the citizenship test?
There are 24 questions and you need to get 18 right

2. Who needs to take the test?
Anyone who wants to achieve British Nationality or indefinite leave to remain

3. Can I re-take the test if I fail?
Yes you can take the test again, but you will need to pay for each test you take.

4. Can I take the test in my own language?
No. Your English needs to be good enough to understand the questions. If not you will need to attend an ESOL course.

5. When should i take the Citizenship test?
You need to pass the test before you apply for indefinite leave to remain or for british nationality. However, don't take the test till you know you can pass.

6. What ID do I need to take with me to the test?
You need to bring photographic ID with you to your test. Any one of the following are accepted. a) Passport b) UK Photocard Driving license c) an Immigration Status Document, endorsed with a UK Residence Permit and bearing a photo of the holder d) passport-sized photograph of yourself. The photograph should be signed on the back by a professional such as a doctor, minister of religion or teacher who is known to you.

7. When do I find the test results?
You will be told by the Supervisor as soon as you finish the test
